Hippy Kids Safeguarding Commitment Statement

We will:
– Not tolerate any form of abuse or neglect at Hippy Kids
– Take all reasonable steps to protect children whilst in our care.
– Give equal priority to keeping all children safe from harm regardless of their age, disability, gender, race, or beliefs.
– Provide our staff with the knowledge, training, and tools to guide them in protecting children from abuse and neglect.
We will achieve this by:
– Supporting staff by providing a clear policy and procedural framework, transparent reporting and maintaining a safeguarding culture.
– Encouraging staff to discuss any concerns promptly to the designated safeguarding lead.
– Recruiting staff safely following safer recruitment guidance.
– Recording and storing information according to GDPR
– Recognising the position of trust in which staff are regularly places and use our procedures to work with the local authority to manage any allegations against them.
– Providing a safe physical environment for children and staff by adhering to health and safety measures in accordance with the law and statutory guidance.
– Working in partnership with agencies responsible for the safeguarding of children
